Some very large carp swimming in one of the streams running through the grounds at
Canada’s Wonderland.
They seem to congregate near the bridges because they know
‘that is where the food can be found.’
Some of the entertainment at the PFLAG Buffet.

Adamo Angelo Ruggiero (the character Marco in the TV series Degrassi) gave a
heart-felt presentation of his role in Degrassi and his own ‘coming out’.

He joined the Degrassi cast in 2002 in the role of Marco Del Rossi,
a gay teenager who struggles with coming to terms with his sexuality.
Adamo is currently the host of The Next Star. In November 2008,
it was announced that Ruggiero would star in the gay-themed Christmas film
Make the Yuletide Gay. Ruggiero ‘came out’ in January 2008, saying
“I come from a traditional Italian family but they aren’t so traditional
that me being gay was a deal breaker.”
He also landed the cover of the January 23-February 5, 2008 issue of fab magazine.

The “Maple Leaf Tartan”

Designed in 1964 by David Weiser to commemorate the new Canadian flag,
the maple leaf tartan is the unofficial tartan of Canada.

The four colours reflect the colours of the maple leaf as it changes
through the seasons—green in the spring, gold in the early autumn,
red at the first frost, and brown after falling.

Its International Tartan Index number is 2034.

Oh-la-la.
